One of the designs to choose from! We made trap ddors so we could get candy out! I combined 2 videos I watched to do this card! Love watchig videos for great ideas to share with my wonderful club girls!

Close up of another design! I used the Sweetheart stamp set for this cute card!

For the little hearts I used the heart to heart and the owl punch! Those hearts work perfect to layer with! I discovered it when I was putting this card together! It needed just a lil touch and I though how cute some lil hearts added! Love when I can share tips for more ways to use pnches!

This beautiful basket was a gift from our sons gf for Christmas! It was full of great things! I thought it would make the perfect display to put the card prepping in for this card!I had bags ready for the girls just to pick their colors out and even the candy was premeasured for them! LOL! I spoil my club girls what can i say! LOL

Love my markers to omit words from a stamp! The stamp says love you justt he way you are. I just used my marker and inked up the hearts and lovr you words for the perfect saying for the inside!

I found this cool box at one of my fav stores Ross! I have been looking for a box like this to have on my stampin table to hold some of my newer design punches. This works perfect for me! I have filled it up so I think that calls for another box to buy more punches!!!

I just made this for my newest member of our family Luke. He is my great nephew that lives in Florida.
The box is a full sheet 81/2 by 11 of Pool Party CS scored at 1 1/2 on all sides using my Simple Scored.

The stamped dsp on top of the box is from Just Add cake DSP. I stamped Petite Pairs and Fox and Friends sets to make my own design on the white lined paper. I used Island Indigo and Crumb Cake also. I just cant wait till my neice sees this! I will be making more of these boxes. The matching tissue paper just added the perfect touch. Of course it wouldnt have beem conplete without matching card and envelope!

One of the precious things I love about StampinUp! is the friends you make online thru our love of stampin! I got an email from a fellow online demo friend posting to several groups a request for cards for her sister going thru a rough time. I made my decision right there to start praying for her and her sister and knew I wanted to make a card to brighten her sisters day! Here is the card I came up with this morning and mailing it now. I just love this DSP!! First card I made with it! I know it will bring a smile to her face just knowing someone cared enough to make her a card.

Here is my card for this weeks challenge for the design team that I am apart of. Colors this week are Garden Green, More Mustard and Tangerine Tango. Please join us this week at http://www.creative-sketches.com/

Baby wipe technique is so easy but a cool affect. I taught both of my sisters via Skpe and they both like it too! After I got done making my card I wiped the baby wipe with the refills on it in on glossy paper. I thought to myself that would make a cool button. So, I used my crop a dile to make the holes then the 1/2 Circle Punch to make the button. Then I have seen on a few videos on utube to add the cardstock thru the button to make it look more realistic! Loved the effect and have done it several times. As I list the recipes for my projects from now on I will be including the measurements of the cardstock. I love seeing blogs that have those and I thought it was time I did the same thing. Hope you all like this added addition.

I made this card for my hostess club last month. I loved how when I decided to crimp the leaves it really added to the card! So, dust off your crimper and don't forget it adds just the perfect touch to your card! If you look real close you will see that I punched the DSP paper witht the Modern Label Punch first. It's not something I do alot. But, I really love the way it looks punched like that and so did my club girls!

When I used the pumpkin die cut to prepare my Halloween card I posted a few days ago I got an idea. I thought I should run two embosslits thru the Big Shot at the same time. I figured as long as I was using the same tab on the platform it would work. It worked out great for me! I saved the embosslits and will share a card that I will make using those soon.

Pumpkin Card using the Owl Punch

Here is one of the cards we made at club last week. I saw online and I don't remember which blog it was where the owl punch was used for accents on cards. It was a great idea so I copied it. I used the owl punch and used them at the top of my card. We used green pumpkins for the tops. I was trying to show in this picture how I was using it to punch the holes I needed for my card. At the same time saving on cs. The picture that shows 6 pumpkins was after I ran the die cut thru the Polka Dots embossing folder. The girls loved the cute little card. Crimped Leaves

This is showing the process I did to use the leaves template for my card I posted the other day. I will post the card with recipe tomorrow.
After I used the template I thought the leaves needed something. so, I got out my crimper and it really adds alot to the look now. So, dust off your crimper and see how you can use it in your stampin creation!

Thursday Tip Organizing Reinkers

I bought this a long time ago at Ross. I love that store! You just never know the treasures that you will find there. I found this and now I use it for my reinkers. I have this in the closet in my stamp room. Works perfect for me. I need to go thru and arrange according to color groups now. There are two sides both have all these little slots. Also I will be able to tell faster when I need refills now too. There are so many techniques to do with them that I have my customers trained to buy a reinker with your ink pads. You don't want to run out in the middle of a project. This works for me and I hope maybe it will work for someone else too.

I took some pictures after we cleaned up the stampin tables, cards done and after our game of stamp blackout. My sisters in Iowa and Florida are the ones waving. Thursday Tip for this week...... Organizing Daubers

Last week I thought I would find a new way to organize my daubers and this is what I came up. This container is the one the alphabet sets used to come in. But, any container will work they fit in. So far I have one per color. I plan on having 2 for each color to speed things up at hostess club. I just used these little labels and just hand wrote them on. Next week tip I will show you how I organized my reinkers.

I have beem missing in action for about 5 weeks when I got sick. The past few days I think I can almost say I am feeling better daily now! Between getting diagnosed with ashtma bronchitis and my acid reflux issues its been a long tme to get better. I didnt even know I had ashtma. I am on all kinds of meds and hopefully the dr figures out how to get and keep me healthy! I am not working at all right now.

I just love the new owl punch! I punched 2 out and started playing this weekend. I plan making these into a card soon and I will post it! I included 2 owls in my clubs orders so they could make the owls too!!

Look for alot of posting to catch up on some stampin I have been doing!! I have 3 sisters and there ALL truly my stampin sistas now!!!

As I said last week my sister Nancy that had her first stampin lesson! She mailed this to her little sis me and wow I am impressed! My favorite part is all of it of course! LOL! BUT, my most favorite part I noticed was she made the stem a cross!! She knew she had to include that on my page! That just makes it extra special! Thanks so much sis! My sister Nancy just started stampin as I mentioned in yesterday's post. Here are a few of her ideas she came up with on her own. Also she was matching up her DSP with the flower fusions. She has given me ideas already to try and she just got started and yes she is addicted already!!! As you can see she has having fun with the chipboard. She loves crafts and now she has added stampin to her crafts! LOL! I am already teasing her she will be signing up to be a demo at some point! LOL!

I was asked by my co-worker if I could come up with an idea for a ladybug topper for a littel girls birthday party. I searched the internet combined ideas and came up with this version. I had done the punching out at home and showed the girls how to put them together and they made 24 of them. Next project at work is my other co-worker thought bubble bees would be cute along w the lady bugs for the end of the school year idea for her girls to take to school. LOL! So, I am on the search now for ideas to make my own version of bubble bees!

Thursday Tip Talk #3 Scraps Organization Tip

This is how I store my cardstock and scraps. I get these containers from Target. They come in all kinds of colors. I have 5 of them on my book shelf. One for each family group and one for the neutrals and current in colors. Then, I use a page protector sheet for each color. I put a full sheet in to start with helps it stay upright. The I put the scraps in the page protector and it goes in front of the full sheets. I use the scraps up this way!! I have tried so many different ways over the last 7 years of how to store scraps believe me! This idea that works for me came from splitcoaststampers.com and now some of my customers are doing this too!!

Next week my tip is on how to start having cards on hand to mail out.

I want to thank Linda one of my downline for so much help on my blog today!! Linda is here in Tucson visiting her daughter and grand daughter. She lives out of state so when I found out she was here we made plans! So, today she helped me with my blog and then we got to stamp too!!! Helping with my blog was not part of the pan for today!
